Family Day Activities
ONU Family Day is a collaborative effort by multiple groups on the ONU campus. There is no registration fee for the day, and most events are free.
The Bookstore will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. today! Be sure to stop by and pick up the latest ONU gear!

8:00 pm - Glow Run - Green Monster
The Glow Run is a 5k walk/jog/run that feautres glow stick as well as other glow gear. This is event is open to the public and all are welcome! All proceeds go to Relay For Life - American Cancer Society. Registration is $15 and all participants will get a tshirt and glow sticks. 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. 28th Annual Ada Harvest & Herb Festival - Downtown Ada
Ada hosts the Annual Harvest and Herb Festival in downtown Ada every September. Plan to attend to enjoy the crafts, food and entertainment on Main Street. This event is sponsored by the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce and features participation with local craftspeople and various campus organizations. Campus organizations include Habitat for Humanity, Panhellenic Council, Residence Life, and more!
10 - 11:30 a.m. Bingo - Moved to McIntosh Activities Room Due to Rain
Enjoy a FREE and fun game of BINGO sponsored by the Office of Residence Life. Many great prizes will be up for grabs including ONU apparel, movies, Shirley's Popcorn, and so much more!
1-4 p.m. Carnival - Affinity Village
Hosted by Alpha Xi Delta and Sigma Phi Epsilon, the carnival will feature games with prizes, food, and free hay rides. All of the proceeds will be going to Autism Speaks.
2:30 - 4:30 p.m. Trivia - McIntosh Activities Room
Join special guest host J.P. Taylor for an exciting round of trivia. Your family will play side by side against other family and student teams. Light refreshments will be provided as well as prizes after each round of trivia.
2:00 p.m. & 7:30 p.m. Dancing at Lughnasa - The Freed Center
Dancing at Lughnasa is a 1990 play by dramatist Brian Friel set in Irelands's County Donegal in August 1936 in the fictional town of Ballybeg. It is a memory play told from the point of view of the adult Michael Evans, the narrator. He recounts the summer in his aunts' cottage when he was seven years old.

7:30 p.m. Monster's University - Tundra (rain location North Gym of Kinghorn Center)
Join us on the Tundra at 7:30 pm (or dusk, whichever comes first) for a Movie experience you won't forget! Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy this movie as the sun sets and the stars come out. This movie by Disney Pixar is the delightful tale of a young monster coming of age. After visiting Monsters Inc.—Monstropolis' most profitable and best-known scaring company—on a school field trip, a young monster named Michael "Mike" Wazowski dreams of being a scarer when he grows up. Eleven years later, Mike is a scare major at Monsters University, where he meets his new roommate, Randall "Randy" Boggs and a large, blue, furry monster named James P. "Sulley" Sullivan.
