Alisa Agozzino, Ph.D., assistant professor of communication arts, and Candace Kaiser, a junior in communication arts from Bryan, Ohio, will present a paper, “Adding, deleting, and/or starting over: how social media has changed crisis communication plans in school systems,” at the 16th annual International Public Relations Research Conference (IPRRC), March 8 in Miami, Fla.
The conference is dedicated to supporting socially beneficial public relations research that increases understanding, builds relationships, support ethical socially responsible performance and advances the development of an increasingly democratic global society.
Over its 16-year history, IPRRC has become one of the top venues for presentation of new public relations research and for interaction among scholars and PR professionals. IPRRC is unique in many ways.
Not only is it the only conference devoted entirely to research in public relations, it also features informal roundtable sessions where participants actively discuss and even contribute to the research. Participants include graduate students, professors and practitioners.
