Premedical Sciences

The majority of students are biology, chemistry majors, but others have chosen engineering, biochemistry, pharmacy, music, psychology, mathematics and business majors. Students are advised to have significant shadowing experience, have an overall GPA of 3.5 or better and perform well on placement exams (with overall scores of approximately 30 for MCAT, 1200 for GRE, 320 for OAT and 18 for DAT). Data from the last 10 years indicates that the acceptance rate for students advised by the Premedical Sciences Committee is greater than 95 percent.
