McCarthy to participate in ACS national meeting

Allison McCarthy, a senior in chemistry from New Washington, Ohio, will be taking part in the 245th ACS (American Chemical Society) National Meeting in New Orleans, La., April 7-11. Her poster presentation, “Hetero Diels-Alder reactions of 3-formylchromones” will be part of the Division of Organic Chemistry session “New Reactions and Methodology, Heterocycles and Aromatics,” held the evening of April 10.

McCarthy also received a travel award from the Division of Organic Chemistry to attend the national meeting.
