  • Complete academic coursework for athletic training curriculum
  • Complete six clinical experiences under the direct supervision of a BOC certified athletic trainer
  • Endorsement of certification application by the athletic training education program director
  • Proof of current CPR PR or BLS certification

Placement and Employment

Many students choose to pursue a master’s degree upon graduation from ONU and further their education in athletic training or another related health science program. ONU has a rich tradition of graduates who have furthered their education at some of the finest institutions in the country such as:

Most outpatient sports medicine hospitals/clinics provide athletic training services to the weekend athlete and high school athletes who do not have a full-time athletic trainer on staff.
