• studio arts
Concentrations in the department of art & design are only offered in the studio arts major (BFA degree):
• two-dimensional (e.g. illustration, printmaking, painting)
• three-dimensional (e.g. ceramics, sculpture)
• pre-art therapy option
Ohio Northern's A&D department prepares students to become creative and productive artists and/or designers in a complex and changing world. Our educational program integrates traditional and contemporary methods in art and design, exposing students to a wide-range of forms and mediums. Students also engage in many enriching, outside-the-classroom learning experiences such as a monthly guest artist program, professional internships, student teaching, juried art exhibits, field trips, study abroad programs and work on University publications.
