The Ohio Northern University opera program performs literature from standard opera to operetta. As part of the vocal curriculum, the opera workshop is designed to give Ohio Northern University students the opportunity to perform staged works including aria and scene recitals, one-act operas, and full- length works with orchestra. The opera workshop performances are presented on-campus and often tour to local elementary, middle and high schools. The casts for each production are chosen through an audition process that is open to all ONU students.
