Lucinda Alstaetter is presently Lecturer of Music for Ohio Northern University. She teaches applied Flute and the Woodwind Methods class. Lucinda also directs the ONU Flute Choir and Woodwind Choir. She is principle Flute with the Lima Area Concert Band and co-principle Flute with the Lima Symphony Orchestra.
She received both her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees from Bowling Green State University. Her past teaching experience includes time spent at Marimor, a public school music program in Logan County, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Bowling Green State University.
Lucinda was a member of a Canadian performing group, Tintamarre Chamber Ensemble, which performed Woodwind Quintet literature. While performing with this ensemble, she helped make live CBC recordings, and was featured in a one hour National Canadian TV special, with Rita MacNeil, in 1989.
