How do I get a job on campus?
The process for working on campus begins with the Office of Career Services. The Office of Career Services keeps a listing of available positions on their Web site under the "Student Employment" tab. Once you are successful in securing a job, you must be authorized to work. You may be authorized by filling out the appropriate forms.

How do I enter my time?
All timesheets are online through Self Service Banner. Timesheets are filled out bi-weekly. Once the pay period is over you will submit your hours to your supervisor for approval. You must submit your hours no later than 11:59 p.m. on the appropriate date (refer to the Bi-Weekly Pay Schedule).

How do I get approved to submit my time online?
Your supervisor must complete and submit a web time entry form through the Office of Career Services. The web time entry form is then submitted to the Human Resource Office for processing.  The Human Resource Office may contact you to complete employment forms, and then they will process your information so an electronic timesheet is available on Self-Service Baner.

How is my time approved?
The supervisor for your position approves your timesheet via Self Service Banner. Your supervisor has the ability to return you timesheet for correction, so be aware that your timesheet may need resubmitting.

When do I get paid?
Direct deposits are deposited on a bi-weekly basis in accordance with the Bi-Weekly Pay Schedule as posted on the Human Resource website.

How do I see my pay stub?
You may view your pay stub through your Self Service Banner account. Once you are in Self Service Banner, instead of choosing "timesheet" like you would to enter your hours, choose "pay stub", and it will give you a listing of hours worked and any deductions you have incurred.

How do I get paid?
All students get paid by direct deposit or a manual check. Direct deposit is set up to be deposited into the financial institution you have chosen and manual checks can be picked up in the Human Resources Office.

What forms are required?
All employment tax forms are required for work eligibility. You will need to fill out a Biographical Information form, an I-9 (employment eligibility), W-4 (federal tax) and IT-4 (Ohio state tax) forms. If your permanent address is located in a reciprocity state, you will need to fill out the IT-4 NR form. All forms are located on the forms tab.

I have been asked to work. What do I do?
The first thing you must do is check with the Office of Financial Aid for work-study eligibility. Once they have authorized you to work and find a job on campus, your hiring supervisor will complete a Web time-entry, and then you will need to complete all the applicable tax forms and then the forms need to be submitted to the Human Resource Office for processing.

How much will I be paid?
The current student work-study and non-work study studnet hourly rate is $8.08. This rate is set yearly by the Vice President for Financial Affairs.
