Auditions and portfolio review information
Applicants planning to major in Advertising Design, Art Education, Graphic Design, International Theatre Production, Music, Music Education, Musical Theatre, Performance, Studio Arts or Theatre are required to complete an audition or portfolio review as part of the admissions process. Please see below for available audition dates, links to the online audition forms and audition requirements, as well as contact information if you have additional questions. Auditions and portfolio reviews must be completed as part of your admissions file in order for your file to be considered complete.
*Note: Talent Awards will not be mailed with the admissions decision. They will be mailed with the Financial Aid letter sent in March.
Musical Theatre majors
Auditions are required for admission and Talent Award eligibility. Talent awards are coordinated with other University grants and scholarships and begin at $4,000 per year. Your audition must be completed during the admission process but after you have submitted an application to the University. Audition dates for the Class of 2013 will be available soon. Please check back!
Representatives from the Musical Theatre Department will also be conducting off-site auditions at the Texas Moonifieds in November, the NYC Unifieds in February and the Chicago Unifieds in February. If you audition in NYC or Chicago, admission will be on a space available basis. Musical Theatre students may also upload an online audition video via acceptd. International Theatre Production majors
An interview and portfolio review is required for admission and Talent Award eligibility. Talent Awards are coordinated with other University grants and scholarships and begin at $4,000 per year. Your interview and portfolio review must be completed during the admission process but after you have submitted an application to the University. International Theatre Production students may also upload their portfolio online via acceptd. To upload your portfolio, visit www.getacceptd.com.

Non-major Talent Awards for Orchestral Musicians
Talent awards are available for students who play orchestral instruments. The awards are coordinated with other University grants and scholarships and begin at $2,000.
