Any student not on approved academic leave who is not enrolled for one semester or more (except summer session) must apply for re-admission with the Admissions Office at least two weeks prior to the beginning of the semester he or she wishes to return. Re-admission will be subject to approval of the dean of the college of application for re-entry, the vice president for student affairs, and the office of the controller.
Ohio Northern is a member of the Service-Members Opportunity Colleges and the Concurrent-Admissions Program. The University utilizes the "Guide to the Evaluation of Educational Experiences in the Armed Services" as prepared by the American Council on Education. Credit can be granted for military educational experiences determined to be relevant to the student's academic program. Students are encouraged to apply for admission under the Concurrent-Admissions Program (ConAP).
Special, Audit, Transient, and Postgraduate Students
Admission is available under certain conditions for special non-degree seeking students and for auditors. Transient students are admitted upon the approval of the home institution and certification of good standing. Individuals with previously-earned bachelor's or higher degrees who wish to pursue further undergraduate study are admitted as postgraduate students upon receipt of a transcript or certificate of graduation from the granting institution.
