Director of Community Relations

In addition to her role as first lady at Ohio Northern University, Chris Burns-DiBiasio serves as director of community relations. She earned her B.S. from the College of Agriculture and Home Economics at the University of Vermont and a M.Ed. from Montana State University.

At Wilmington College, she held the position of director of community relations, serving as a liaison between local businesses, non-profits, education and government agencies and the college. Former positions include director of affirmative action at the University of New Hampshire, director of training and development at the University System of New Hampshire, and training and development manager at Bank One in Columbus, Ohio.

She also worked at the National Center for Research in Vocational Education at Ohio State University and at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Mont. Burns-DiBiasio also is involved in numerous community-based organizations, and sits on the board of the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance.
