Ohio Northern University will recognize Tuition Freedom Day on Feb. 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the McIntosh Activities Room. Tuition Freedom Day is the hypothetical day where the University stops running on tuition dollars and begins to run solely by donations from outside parties.
Tuition covers only 65 percent of ONU’s operating costs for the year. The University relies on donations from alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents and supporters of Ohio Northern to cover the rest. Tuition Freedom Day was created to educate students about the generosity of donors.

Ohio Northern University’s James F. Dicke College of Business Administration hosted the Polar Innovation Exchange on Tuesday, Nov. 15. The competition was created to encourage creativity, innovation and the spirit of the entrepreneurial mindset while challenging ONU student teams and individuals to create and share ideas that will improve our global community.
