Ohio Northern University self insures our health care plans.  Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield provides third-party administration of the plans for the University. All Medical plans utilize the Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield  network of providers. Ohio Northern offers full-time employees the choice of 3 comprehensive health care plans that are designed to meet the varying needs of all employees. Upon hire or during the annual open enrollment period, employees have the option of selecting either Plan A, the Core Plan or Plan B. Premium costs vary significantly between plans. Employees are encouraged to review the benefits of both to determine which plan best meets their personal situation.
