ONU Law Students Travel to Iceland

Iceland law exchangeSix Ohio Northern law students recently traveled to Reykjavik, Iceland, as part of the Ohio Northern College of Law's Icelandic Legal Exchange Program. While there, they toured a jail, the Supreme Court, and the parliament building.

Pictured are some of the students holding Icelandic legal books presented to them for inclusion in ONU's law library.

The books are on Icelandic law, marriage versus domestic partnerships, and a legal dictionary.

The marriage book was written by Arman Snaevar, who, along with former ONU law dean Eugene Hanson, formed the Exchange Program. The program is now in its 48th year.
