Guest speaker to discuss ‘Women and Leadership’
Madsen, an assistant dean of faculty and associate professor of management at the Woodbury School of Business at Utah Valley University, has for the past four years researched the lifetime development of prominent women leaders and has personally interviewed a host of female university presidents, governors and international leaders.
Madsen has published nearly 50 articles and has written two books: "On Becoming a Women Leader: Learning from the Experiences of University Presidents"(2008) and "Developing Leadership: Learning from the Experiences of Women Governors" (2008).
Madsen serves as a consultant in the United Arab Emirates and China, and her research focuses on leadership development, change, ethics, strategic faculty development, academic service learning and work-life integration.
