Continuous Achievement Scholarship Honors Academic Improvement

After four years of planning, Ohio Northern is now offering the Continuous Achievement Scholarship to one student in each undergraduate college.

A joint venture of the Office of Financial Aid and Student Senate, the Continuous Achievement Scholarship will recognize students based on academic improvement from high school to college and commitment to improving the University community through leadership activities.

This is the only scholarship at ONU to recognize students for academic and extracurricular performance during their collegiate careers. The Continuous Achievement Scholarship honors those who did not receive top scholarships when admitted to the University, but who have improved academically and taken leadership roles in the ONU community since arriving on campus.

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must have at least a 3.25 GPA, have completed at least one quarter and have at least one quarter (including Spring 2009) remaining in their undergraduate career at ONU. This includes those with freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, or P1 through P4 class rankings. Those who have received the top scholarship award in their respective categories are not eligible to apply for the Continuous Achievement Scholarship.

The application form is now available online at Financial Aid or through the Student Senate Web site.

The Continuous Achievement Scholarship application will be available until March 27, 2009.
