Chris Corrado finalist in SEA (Self-Employment in the Arts) Regional Business Plan Competition
Chris Corrado was selected as one of eight finalists to compete in the SEA (Self-Employment in the Arts) Regional Business Plan Competition on February 19-20th at North Central College in Chicago www.seaconference.com. Milliken University is another key sponsor of this event. This is the 10th annual business plan competition of this group which focuses on helping students and faculty start businesses in the arts.
The format of the competition allows each contestant 3 minutes to make an "elevator" style of pitch, to convey who they are and what the business does / or will do. No A/V will be used, however, samples of the contestants’ work and poster boards will be allowed. After this time the judges may ask questions. (Only the judges will be allowed to ask questions. There will be no questions from the audience.)
Corrado could win a $1,000 award for his pitch.
Corrado’s faculty advisors are Dr. Dan Fergusen, Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship, Dr. Michele Govekar, Professor of Management and Dr. Susan Schertzer, Assistant Professor of Marketing.
