Idea Pitch Winners Announced
The James F. Dicke College of Business hosted the Create Ideas to Change Our World Idea Pitch Competitions on Wednesday, February 3.
Winners in the college division were : Jen Tabar (Biology), Chelsea Albert (Marketing, Sports Management), Gregory Dell (Management, Marketing), Ashley Bonamer (Biochemistry), Renee LeGendre (Communications), Catherine Merchak (Art and Design), Delaine Falk (Creative Writing, English), Kimberlee Randall (Pharmaceutical Business), Ryan Lowry (Management, Marketing), Matt Barbour (Pharmacy), Andrea Meers (Accounting), Ashley Johnson (Management), Katie Wade (Technology Studies, German), Spencer Cupp (Electrical), Scott Turner (Pharmaceutical Business), Brittany Helmig (Pharmaceutical Business).
Winners in the high school division were: Megan Bookser (Oakland Catholic HS, Pittsburgh), Nichole May (Van Buren HS), Samantha Schulte (St. Joseph Academy), Nathan Zelmer (Newark HS).
The Community of Ada also wins as the goal of two of the top four final round winners is to help Ada build a skate park for the youth of our Community. Cash awards and last night's pizza dinner for our 40+ competitors, 20 judges, 20 student staff and over a score of additional family and friends in Dicke Hall were provided due to the generosity of the Kern Family Foundation.
The next and final Idea Pitch competition of the 2009/2010 Academic year will be a poster/pitch team or individual competition on Wednesday, April 28th, hosted in the McIntosh Ballroom and adjoining rooms.
