Ohio Northern University’s College of Law celebrates its 125th anniversary in 2010. To commemorate this landmark event, the law school will host a series of events, distinguished speakers, special dedications, alumni events and symposia.

O'Melinn Presents Paper
Liam S. O'Melinn, professor of law, presented a paper, "Our Discrete and Insular Founders: American 'Degeneracy' and the Birth of Constitutional Equality" at the NYU Legal History Colloquium on Nov. 4, 2009. The presentation is available online.

Martin Publishes Article
John H. Martin, visiting professor of law has published an article titled "Reconfiguring Estate Settlement," in the Minnesota Law Review.

ONU to Host Idea Pitch Competitions
Ohio Northern University’s James F. Dicke College of Business Administration will host entrepreneurial idea pitch competitions for area high school and college students on Wednesday, Feb. 3, from 5-9 p.m. in James F. Dicke Hall.

Clark to Attend FBI Workshop
LeAnn Clark, a sophomore in criminal justice and psychology from Franklin, Ohio, will attend two workshops run by Roy Hazelwood, who was one of the first criminal profilers in the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit.

Ashleigh Kaleugher, a senior in criminal justice from Aliquippa, Pa., will be representing Ohio in the U.S. Beauties National Pageant July 9-11 in Chicago.
