Albert SebokSebok Pharmacy Lecture to Host CEO of NACDS
The Sebok Pharmacy Lecture, established to honor Dr. Albert A. Sebok, a 1953 graduate of the Raabe College of Pharmacy, pictured at left, will be held on Jan. 19. Steven C. Anderson, CEO of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS), will be the inaugural speaker. Anderson will deliver his lecture, “Pharmacies: Changing the Face of Neighborhood Health Care,” on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 1 p.m. in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts.

ONU Partners with Roxane Laboratories
Ohio Northern University’s Raabe College of Pharmacy and Roxane Laboratories announced the expansion of a partnership that allows Ohio Northern pharmacy students to explore the world of generic drug research and development.
 

 

SIFE Joins Cell Phones for Soldiers
Ohio Northern University’s Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) and Cell Phones for Soldiers are collecting old and unused cell phones for American soldiers.

Congratulations to Michael Leifheit, Pharm.D. '04, BCPS and Nicholas J. Bellman, Pharm.D. '07, BCPS, who are recipients of the 2009 ASHP Best Practices Award.


photo2The Pettit College of Law will celebrate 125 years of training attorneys during 2010. The college, which was officially established at Ohio Northern in 1885, is planning a number of exciting events during academic year 2010-2011. Distinguished speakers, special dedications, alumni events and symposia are planned. In addition, the Supreme Court of Ohio will be in session at ONU Law in September and a special reunion trip to Iceland is planned for June.
