New Student-Run Business Seeks interns

Polar Merchandise, the first official student-run business at Ohio Northern University, sells branded merchandise business with optional personalized graphics, 200,000 other items and services both large and small organizations. Polar Merchandise is supported by the well-established City Apparel located in Findlay, OH  Current Polar Merchandise interns are Natalie White, Jared Everline, Kathleen Sponseller and Dan Otanicar. These four student interns run Polar Merchandise, making business decisions regarding prices, promotions, salaries, expenses etc-just like you must do in a real business.

This new and exciting student run business is looking for committed and passionate marketing/sales and accounting interns. Interns receive credit for their work, share in a commission and obtain experience that is priceless. We are looking for students who are able to intern for the entirety of the next academic year. Applicants must be enthusiastic, responsible and work well in groups. Any interested students should contact Natalie White at n-white.3@onu.edu by Friday, April 9, 2010.

Marketing/sales intern duties include but are not limited to working on the quarterly marketing campaigns, sales training, tracking new sales leads, processing orders, working closely with City Apparel, updating the marketing software and working with customers. Accounting intern duties include upkeep of the accounting software, accounting reports, keeping track of revenue and expenses, paying bills and watching the Polar Merchandise account.
