Prison Management Certificate Program Marks First Year
ONU's Prison Management Certificate Program (PMCP), the only program of its type in the nation for Saudi Arabian professionals, will commemorate its one-year anniversary with a trip to Columbus to tour the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) headquarters, the Ohio Supreme Court and the Ohio Statehouse on July 28.

Summer Open House
High school students who will graduate in 2011 are invited to visit ONU on Aug. 13 to experience the University's unique blend of professional and liberal arts programs. Register by Aug. 6.

Football Fundamentals
The Ohio Northern Football team will host a basic fundamentals camp on Saturday, July 31 at 1 p.m. The goal of this camp is to teach the fundamentals of football to children the ages of 6-13. To learn more, contact Nick Hajjar at 419-772-2770.

David Crago Quoted
David C. Crago, dean of ONU's College of Law, is quoted in an article in the July 21 issue of the Toledo Blade headlined "Ohio high court candidates pledge clean campaign."
Crago, who is chairman of the Ohio State Bar Association's ad monitoring committee, told the paper, ""We are concerned that some recent [federal] court decisions will potentially open an influx of large sums of money back into Ohio Supreme Court races,"

Pharmacy Student Selected for National Committee
Ryan Fischer, a fifth-year Ohio Northern pharmacy student from Spencerville, Ohio, has been selected to serve on the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) National Advisory Committee on Policy and Legislative Advocacy. The selection is a highly competitive process in which only 10 students nationally earn a spot on each committee.
