For six years, the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program has honored Ohio Northern students from the departments of chemistry and biochemistry, mathematics and statistics, and physics and astronomy for their academic and research excellence in mathematics and science.

Recently, the dean’s office of the Getty College of Arts & Sciences hosted a small dessert reception in their honor.
