‘Branding My Business’ workshop set

The Entrepreneur Center in Ohio Northern University’s James F. Dicke College of Business Administration continues its entrepreneurship workshops with Matt Jennings, chief executive officer of Quest Federal Credit Union, who will speak on “Branding My Business: Names, Logos and Target Market” on Tuesday, Nov. 1, from 5:30-7 p.m. in the Dicke Forum. The event is free and open to the public.         

Jennings has served as the CEO of Quest Federal, formerly Hardin Community Credit Union, since 1997. Prior to his duties with the credit union, he worked for an area agricultural lender and a national retail store finance provider. Jennings was raised in Hardin County on a dairy farm, received his high school diploma from Ridgemont High in Ridgeway, Ohio, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and accounting from Wilmington College of Ohio.

Jennings researched, developed, tested, planned and launched a full branding campaign in 2010. The campaign included traditional office stock, business cards and other brand products, through to website and logo design, email marketing and use of social media. He worked directly with the consolidation and/or merger of a federally insured financial institution as well as several area nonprofits of various types.
 
The workshop will be preceded by a networking event from 5:30-6 p.m. The workshop will follow the networking event and conclude at 7 p.m.
