Chapel Wedding Policy

The English Chapel and the University Chaplain are available for weddings provided they do not conflict with previously scheduled programs.

Students, Alumni, Employees & Retirees of Ohio Northern University and their dependent children

Chapel Use
Call 419-772-2200 to reserve the chapel.
No fee is required for chapel use by students, alumni, university employees, retirees or their dependent children.

Chaplain Officiating
Wedding preparation is required and the fee is $35.00. The check should be made payable to Ohio Northern University.
Call 419-772-2200 to set up an appointment.
In lieu of an honorarium a donation may be made to Ohio Northern University.

Other Clergy Officiating
Clergy must be licensed by the State of Ohio to officiate at weddings.

Couples Not Related to Ohio Northern University

Chapel Use
Call 419-772-2200 to reserve the chapel.
A fee of $250.00 is charged. A $100 deposit up to six months prior to the date will hold your reservation. The balance shall be paid no later than one week prior to the wedding date. Checks shall be made payable to Ohio Northern University and mailed or brought to the chaplain's administrative assistant.

A fee of $250.00 is required. Checks shall be made out to Ohio Northern University and mailed to or brought to the chaplain's administrative assistant one week prior to the service.
