Motivational speaker to highlight MLK Day's activities at ONU

Ohio Northern University is commemorating Martin Luther King Jr.'s Day with motivational speaker Lance Smith at 4 p.m. in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts on Monday, Jan. 15.

The event is free and open to the public.

Let the Greatness of Dr. King's Vision and the greatness in you be the Action that changes the World," is the topic of Smith's scheduled speech. Smith, who graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in accounting, is the executive producer and host of "The Claysmile Show," a motivational television show. He has written a book entitled "My Name is Victory -- Eight Secrets to Achieving Your Dreams in Spite of Obstacles.

A video and oral presentation that commemorates Dr. King's visit to ONU on Jan. 11, 1968 will be shown prior to Smith's speech.
