ONU Alpha Xi Delta Chapter Receives National Awards

The Gamma Tau chapter of Alpha Xi Delta at Ohio Northern University received National Chapter Accreditation and the Order of the Quill award at the national Alpha Xi Delta leadership and recruitment conference held at Purdue University from June 28-July 2.

National Chapter Accreditation is awarded to Alpha Xi Delta chapters that have met or exceeded set criteria in five major areas of internal chapter operations. Accreditation recognizes chapters for maintaining quality operations and provides feedback that the chapter can use to make improvements.

The ONU chapter also received the Order of the Quill award for outstanding communication with Fraternity Headquarters and other Alpha Xi Delta volunteers.

Founded in 1893 at Lombard College in Galesburg, Ill., Alpha Xi Delta encourages its members to strive for personal development, scholarship, friendship, and civic responsibility throughout their everyday lives.
