Your new journey at Ohio Northern University is about to begin.
There are many important things to address in order to begin a successful journey. Summer Orientation is the place to start. Summer Orientation is required for all new freshmen and is the first of a two-part experience at ONU. During the Summer Orientation, you will schedule fall classes with an academic advisor, take your picture for your photo ID, and learn about crucial student support services as well as opportunities for getting involved.
The second part is our four-day Fall Orientation that begins on Thursday, August 21 and ends on Sunday, August 24. Information and schedules regarding the fall program will be available during the summer program.
Family members are encouraged to attend the Summer Orientation in addition to the new student. While students are busy with activities, family members will learn about important issues and services related to academic success, financial aid, involvement and student activities.
Please Note: Students who fail to attend a summer orientation session will have their class schedules created for them in-house, prior to the first day of classes
