Mentorship Program
The James F. Dicke College of Business Administration offers three mentorship opportunities to students.
Student Mentor - Dicke College freshmen are enrolled in the DCBA Mentoring Program. The objective of this program is to make the transition to ONU and the Dicke College a very positive one. Upperclassmen in the Dicke College serve as mentors. The mentors will introduce freshmen to the academic and social culture at ONU and the Dicke College as they provide advice and will encourage freshmen to get involved in College and University acitivities.
Business Professional, External Mentor - As students progress through their business education, they may be paired with a business professional who serves as an external mentor.
Faculty Mentor - Students are assigned a faculty advisor who advises them both academically and professionally.
Experiential Learning
A full-time professional, resident in and available only to the students of The James F. Dicke College of Business Administration leads our experiential-learning and career initiatives. The Office of Experiential Learning (OEL) offers students the resources they need to transition their classroom knowledge into a professional outlet.
