Founded in 1977, the Communication Skills Center (CSC) was established with funds provided by the Lily Endowment. The center is staffed largely by professionals who hold at least a bachelor's degree in an area of communication, such as English, speech, journalism, or technical writing. The CSC exists to reinforce and strengthen communication skills regardless of the level on which the individual may be writing or speaking.
