Entrepreneurship
Did you know?

ONU is a member of the Kern Entrepreneurship Education Network (KEEN). Development and growth of ONU's entrepreneurship education efforts have benefited from substantial support of the Kern Family Foundation.
The mission of the ONU entrepreneurship program is to cultivate the entrepreneurial mindset in all students campus wide and to create opportunities for furthering value creation.
Academic Programs
Within entrepreneurship, academic programs exist for students in both the James F. Dicke College of Business Administration and the T.J. Smull College of Engineering. Students can minor in entrepreneurship and engineering majors can pursue an engineering entrepreneurship option. Internship opportunities exist as well with the on-campus student-run business Polar Merchandise
Entrepreneurship Opportunities
Students hone their skills through events like the Polar Innovation Exchange, where they have 90 seconds to sell their idea to a panel of faculty members and local business owners. Our program welcomes high school students as well with their very own version of the contest in the High School Entrepreneurship Scholarship Competition and Entrepreneurship Adventure High School Summer Camp. Once students are here, they can apply to live in Entrepreneurship House at ONU's beautiful Affinity Village residence hall.
