E*Rock

E*Rock is an animator, graphic designer, DJ, VJ and music producer living in Portland, OR. He has founded and is running the electronic music label Audio Dregs. He is a widely published visual artist and illustrator. As the alias of electronic music, he works with a variety of mediums; audio derived from visual, drawings heavily influenced by music, psychedelic animation, concert posters, and music videos.

Divisions between fine art and pop culture are melted down and formed into something new. His production maintains an organic quality with abstract and fluid design. E* Rock constantly deconstructs designs to enhance quality. While designing is an interest to E* Rock, music is also an important factor. He has released CDs and produced soundtracks. One of his projects for New York animator Mumbleboy included a piece that was displayed last December in Grand Central Station. In collaboration with Paper Rad, the Wyld File group, founded by E* Rock, has directed animated music videos for Beck and The Gossip, which have appeared both on MTV and in the Museum of Modern Art in Paris.
