Andrew Jeffrey Wright
Andrew Jeffrey Wright is an animator– turned pop/alternative graphic designer and artist. He graduated from the University of Fine Arts with a bachelor’s degree in animation. He is the founder of Space 1026, an alternative exhibition gallery in Philadelphia. Much of his work disseminates images in unusual ways, and is heavily influenced by his animation background. His work is usually quite odd and very trippy.
He also collaborated on a short film titled “The Manipulators” which won various awards, including Best Animation at the New York Underground Film Festival. He is not a very wealthy man, and many of his pieces focus on the topic of poverty and money. He also designs t shirts, wallets and other various merchandise.
