Director’s Message:
Access to original works of art is an essential element of nurturing humanity’s inherent capacities. It is the mission of the department’s art and design gallery program to provide to the University community and the general public high-quality and intellectually stimulating encounters with works of contemporary art and design in a wide variety of approaches and media, that encourages a dialogue with contemporary culture, and reflects the concerns of our time.

Our online catalogs reflect our mission in the most profound way. The exhibitions reflect the variety of shows that have appeared at Ohio Northern’s Elzay and Stambaugh galleries. Most print versions of the catalogs are available for purchase by contacting the department of art & design (419.772.2160).
