Catherine Albrecht

Dean, Getty College of Arts and Sciences

  

Dean of the Getty College of Arts and Sciences since August 2009, Catherine Albrecht received the Ph.D. in History from Indiana University and taught at colleges in Texas and Maryland before moving to Ohio.  She is a specialist in the history of East Central Europe.  Dean Albrecht’s major responsibilities including working with faculty to set and refine college strategy, facilitating faculty governance, exploring new academic initiatives, and managing college operations for students, faculty, and administrators.
