Sandra L. Hrometz, professor of pharmacology, has successfully completed the examination to become a Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist (CGP) through the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists.
The purpose of the CGP credential is to identify and recognize those pharmacists who have expertise in geriatric pharmacotherapy. It allows for the useful practice of Medication Therapy Management (MTM) principles for older adultsin hospital, community, long-term care and educational settings.












Thomas E. Menighan, executive vice president and chief executive officer of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), will be the guest speaker during the Ohio Northern University Raabe College of Pharmacy’s third annual Sebok Pharmacy Lecture. Menighan will deliver his lecture, “It is an Exciting Time to be a Pharmacist,” in ONU’s Freed Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, Jan. 20, at 1 p.m.
Ohio Northern University’s James F. Dicke College of Business Administration hosted the Polar Innovation Exchange on Tuesday, Nov. 15. The competition was created to encourage creativity, innovation and the spirit of the entrepreneurial mindset while challenging ONU student teams and individuals to create and share ideas that will improve our global community.
