Drug Information Center
Ohio Northern University's Drug Information Center supports the academic program of the College of Pharmacy by providing students with the necessary training in data retrieval and drug literature evaluation. The center also serves as a resource for all health care professionals and consumers.
The Drug Information Center answers an average of 400 to 500 drug information questions per month, from both health professionals and consumers. Questions may be submitted by filling out the Information Request From on the Submit a Question page, or by contacting the center via phone or fax. There is no charge for any service offered.
The purpose of the center is to provide accurate, unbiased information to health care professionals and the general public to optimize patient care. In addition, the center has a strong academic component designed to enable students to gain experience in provision of drug information to enable confident utilization of drug information skills and resources.
