Polar Paws for a Northern Cause
Did you know tuition doesn’t cover the entire cost of your education?
Yep, that’s right! Your tuition dollars only cover about 65% of ONU’s operating budget. This means, the University relies on private support to help offset the remaining cost of your education.
The Northern Fund
The Northern Fund supports ONU with annual operating costs and the University’s highest priorities — student scholarships, financial aid and campus improvements. Alumni, parents and friends of the University support The Northern Fund in an effort to keep your education affordable.
Every student at ONU benefits from the philanthropy of alumni, parents and friends of the University.
Philanthropy can be defined in many ways. Typically, it is described as the act of goodwill towards others. Through the Polar Paws for a Northern Cause program, we are raising awareness and educating fellow students about the impact that philanthropy has on their education.
