The Ohio Third District Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments in one criminal case in the Moot Court Room of Ohio Northern University's Pettit College of Law at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 18.
The oral arguments will be held before a three-judge panel consisting of presiding Judge Stephen R. Shaw and Judges Richard M. Rogers and John R. Willamowski. Rogers, Shaw and Willamowski are all Ohio Northern law alumni.

Ohio Northern University has received more than $4 million from alumni estate contributions.The estate of Dr. Anthony and Doris Martin provides more than $2.5 million for the benefit of the existing Dr. Anthony J. and Doris E. Ohio Northern University has received a gift of more than $3 million from the estate of Eugene A. Beeler. Beeler, who passed away in October of 2006, graduated from ONU in 1949 with a bachelor of arts and science degree and a major in accounting. Ohio Northern University senior, Jeremy Lee Schroeder, a civil engineering major from Columbus Grove, Ohio, has received an Award of Excellence from the honor society Phi Kappa Phi. The award will enable him to pursue a master's degree in civil engineering at the University of Virginia.
