Barbee’s talk, “Are the Statistics Really Statistics?” dealt with misuses of statistics.











Dr. Philip Zoladz, assistant professor of psychology, and 10 past and present research assistants, attended the 2012 annual meeting of the Society for Neuroscience, held Oct. 13-17 in New Orleans, La., to present posters based on research conducted at ONU.
Ohio Northern University’s Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) received a Star Chapter Award at the 2012 PRSSA National Conference in San Francisco Oct. 12-19.
Ohio Northern University junior Lauren Stahl, a communication arts/public relations major from Belle Center, Ohio, was awarded the Altschul Champions for PRSSA Outstanding Internship Award at the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) National Conference on Oct. 15.
The Ohio Northern University College of Engineering’s real-life class, Engineering Projects In Community Service (EPICS), is working on three major projects throughout the area: building a replica of the Mars rover Curiosity for the Armstrong Air and Space Museum in Wapakoneta, Ohio; refurbishing a concrete base for historical Civil War cannons in Forest, Ohio; and upgrading the village of Ada’s website.
The Affinity Fun Run/Walk 5K, hosted by the Office of Residence Life on Sept. 29 raised $1,300 for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, which supports children’s literacy in Hardin County.
