This year, 101 ONU students spent spring break volunteering with Habitat for Humanity projects in three different locations across the South, including this one in Albany, Georgia.
Last year, about two-thirds of ONU’s students (2,694 of 3,600) contributed more than 37,000 hours of community service. In recognition, ONU was named to the 2009 President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll, the highest federal recognition a college or university can receive for its commitment to volunteering, service-learning and civic engagement.
