Dr. Schafer is a clinical psychologist and licensed independent chemical dependency counselor in the state of Ohio. He has obtained the Certificate of Proficiency in the Treatment of Alcohol and Other Psychoactive Substance Use Disorders from the American Psychological Association, College of Professional Psychology. His professional work experiences include providing psychological assessments and counseling services in inpatient day treatment and private practice settings.

Rebecca holds a masters degree in social agency counseling and is a licensed professional clinical counselor. She is licensed by the state of Ohio to provide services of individual and group counseling as well as psychological assessments. Rebecca is also certified as a crisis-intervention specialist. She has had specialized training and experience in working with individuals and groups who are dealing with issues related to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, low self-esteem, personal growth, developing interpersonal relationships and childhood abuse.

Becky serves as the secretary and learning assistant for the Counseling Center. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in education and is a long-time employee of the University. Becky can help you make a counseling appointment and answer questions related to the services provided.
