Dr. Lawrence Kuk
Dr. Kuk graduated from Ohio Northern University College of Pharmacy and from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. His past experience has been as a community Pharmacist at Gardner’s Drug Store in Ada, Ohio, Emergency Medicine in the surrounding communities and Family Practice Medicine in Ada, Ohio. He has been at Ada Area Family Practice since 1989. Dr. Kuk serves as an Adjunct Professor of Biological and Allied Health Science at Ohio Northern University. Dr. Kuk has served as the Ohio Northern University Student Physician since the Fall of 2011.
Karen Schroeder RN, BSN, MBA, Director of ONU Health Center
Karen graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing from Lima Technical College, a BSN degree from Bluffton College, and an MBA in Health Care from Defiance College. Her past experience has been in Med-Surgery, Coronary Care, and Emergency Room. She has over 20 years’ experience in College Health.
Deborah Schwaiger CNP, Nurse Practitioner
Deborah graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing from Lima Technical College in 1982. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Bowling Green State University in 1991 and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Medical College of Ohio in 2006. She has experience in Coronary Care, Emergency Room, Case Management and Family Practice. Deb has served as the Ohio Northern Certified Nurse Practitioner since the Fall of 2011.
Claudia Madison RN
Claudia graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing from Lima Technical College and a Radiological Technology License from Lima Memorial Hospital. Her past experience includes x-ray technician and nursing experience in family and pediatric medical offices. Claudia has been with ONU since 1997.
Judy Gerten RN
Judy graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing from Penta Technical Institute. Her past experience has been in Occupational Health, Yellow Springs Health Clinic, Obstetrics, and Geriatrics. Judy has been with ONU since 1994 in full time and PRN positions.
Kimberly Manning RN
Kimberly graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing from Tennessee State University, Nashville and a Licensed Practical Nurse Degree from Tennessee Technology Center, Nashville. Her past experience has been in School Health, Public Health, Cardiac Care, Med-Surgery, Family Practice, and Post-op Plastic Surgery. Kim served nine years in the Tennessee Army National Guard as a Medical Specialist/EMT and as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Kim has been with Ohio Northern University since January 2011.
