SERVE YOUR COUNTRY
Are you interested in being the pilot of manned or unmanned systems, a space officer, an engineer for future weapon systems, or an intelligence officer? Ohio Northern University students can join the Air Force Reserve Officers Training Corps (AFROTC), offered by the Department of Aerospace Studies at Bowling Green State University, to explore over 200 diverse careers that offer exciting opportunities for growth.
The AFROTC educational program provides college-level education to prepare interested men and women for commissioning as second lieutenants in the United States Air Force and the inaugural Space Force. The educational program emphasizes leadership skills, managerial skills and the development of each student’s sense of personal integrity, honor and individual responsibility.
There is no active duty military service commitment for students taking AERO 1000 and 2000 level courses. An active duty commitment decision is not required unless you are offered a scholarship or until the first day of your junior academic year. Scholarships may provide up to full college tuition, required fees, textbook allowance and payment of $350-500 per academic month (tax free).
