A leader in the IT industry, Jim Cates held key management positions at IBM and several high-tech companies in Silicon Valley where he developed a broad range of successful IT products. He currently works with startups, nonprofits and community colleges to increase diversity in the STEM disciplines. He co-authored the book Climbing the Ladder of Business Intelligence.
