A group of young visiting scholars from China will visit ONU and the local area for music cultural exchange.
Dr. Sarah Waters will be teaching the visiting scholars steel drums, samba band music, Ghanaian drumming, and jazz drum set playing. In exchange, ONU students will learn about Chinese music.
On Tuesday, February 4th, the visiting scholars will be performing at Presser Hall at 1:00 p.m. The performance is considered as a session of the BID Open Lecture series, and will be open to all students, faculty and staff, as well as to the public.
