Presented by TIAA, who also presents the Hesburgh Award, the highest honor for university Presidents, Hesburgh is a perfect film to foster conversations during Black History Month or any time throughout 2024, the year that celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Hesburgh is a documentary film about the story of reverend Theodore Hesburgh, president of the University of Notre Dame, an inspirational leader who transcended all societal norms to bring people together from all walks of life around the world during the civil rights era.
Two identical sessions of film screening and discussion will be hosted in February. Please check the event calendar for another session.
