In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy of service, the Student Resource Center collaborated with MLK Day Planning Committee for a community service project that has received the MLK Day 2025 Grant from ServeOhio.
This community service project will take place on Monday, January 27th, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and from 4-6 p.m. in the McIntosh Center Main Lounge, for faculty, staff, and students to engage in the preparation and delivery of care packages with basic hygiene products and warm supplies to the local senior citizens living at Vancrest of Ada. This project will also address the needs of raising awareness and providing education in regard to MLK Day and the Black History Month each year.
