Ohio Northern's Annual Opening the Way Reception formally welcomes students whose unique cultures richly diversify ONU, specifically its incoming Dimension Award and International Student Scholars.
Dimension Award Scholarships are also granted to students whose academic major prepares them to further diverse fields in which their identity groups have been traditionally excluded. These include first-generation domestic students whose academic degrees can help revitalize their home region, female students majoring in technology, engineering, and/or science, and so on.
Sponsored by the Offices of Multicultural Development (OMD) and International Student Services | Global Initiatives, this grand reception offers new scholars the opportunity to meet continuing scholars, ONU student leaders, University administrators, faculty, and staff. A light meal with refreshments will be served.
